Want a resume that will hit wonders? Follow these simple guidelines to make a crisp, simple and impressive resume.

1. Plan what you’re going to write. Make sure to gather details that are relevant and important to what you are applying for.

Guide questions:

“What makes me a perfect candidate for this job?”

“What qualities, abilities or achievements do I have that would make me exceptional for the job?”

2. A resume is like an advertisement of you to the company. You sell yourself to the company. So make sure that you will really sell it.

The secret here is this:

“People get easily attracted with products that were advertised well before they get attracted with the product itself.”

3. Proofread your resume well. Your resume has to be letter perfect. So check on your grammar, spelling, punctuation and your format. The use of lengthy sentences does not look impressive on resumes.

Remember:

“Make it easy for them to understand clearly your resume. Your resume states specific facts of your abilities and capabilities. It is not a diary or a history book of your experiences. Make it really professional.”

The key to a competitive, reader-friendly resume is to choose the right kind of format to fuse all your information in a nutshell.

o If you are a newly grad or new to the workforce with a little work or no experience at all, or if you are making a career change or you appear to job-hop, use the functional resume format. It allows you to summarize the specific skills, accomplishments and capabilities you have to communicate your professional competency.

o If you are experienced in the same field you are applying for, a chronological resume format is suitable for you. This will enables you to show your work progression by specifying your job experiences.

The big challenge here is to be able to persuade the recruitment officer or the employer that you deserve an interview. At a short time given to you, your resume will speak for you. So work on your resume and land on a call center job today!
